OneNet engineers gain new cloud certification

OneNet says its engineers are among the first globally to gain a new certification in cloud computing security. The Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK) is the computer industry’s first user certification for secure cloud computing, the company says. The new qualification is designed to ensure professionals whose work relates to cloud computing have a demonstrated awareness of the security threats and best practices for securing the cloud. The Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) is a not-for-profit organisation that promotes the use of best practices for providing security assurance in cloud computing and to provide education on the uses of cloud computing. The CSA has more than 11,000 individual members and more than 65 corporate members. OneNet CTO Tony Weston and Gareth Fletcher, solution architect, are listed on the CSA website as early adopters.
