Rotorua Council to replace aging conference system

Rotorua Council to replace aging conference system

The Rotorua District Council is looking to replace its rapidly failing, wired conference system in the council chamber with a wireless offering.

It needs one master unit, a chairperson’s unit, 12 delegate units and supporting equipment.

This will include rechargeable batteries, battery charger, cabling and associated costs.

The chamber is a large auditorium shaped room of approximately 300 metres. It has a high ceiling and audibility in the room is affected by air conditioning background noise.

The budget for this work is $30,000 and the deadline for replies is Tuesday, September 28.
