Police tender for ICT project resources, IP network providers

New Zealand Police has issued two requests for proposal documents – one seeking a supplier panel for professional ICT and business project resources, and the other a supplier to integrate and support and its IP network.

It says the project resource panel will offer best value and low risk, and the procurement will operate alongside current infrastructure and project services panel contracts.

The panel will be used for backfilling and/or sourcing project resources when existing resources are unavailable, New Zealand Police says. Based in Porirua, its business projects are run in the Wellington central business district.

In addition, it says the IP network supplier should have a breadth and depth of experience in providing such services.

Respondents must reply to the project resources request by 1 November, while New Zealand Police will hold vendor briefing sessions for potential network providers on 18, 19 and 29 October.
