SnapperNet has taken its first set of graduates through the Cyberoam Certified Network and Security Professional (CCNSP) training course.
The first course was held earlier this month with nine participants: Jacques Calitz from CliqueIT, Alex Locatelli from Computer Services, Joseph Maharaj of Excellent Software, Mike Lepper of IT Securities, Brett Smith of Notable IT Services, David Campbell and Murray Holdsworth of Simnet, Simon Walkden of ThinkIT and SnapperNet’s Byron Paul graduated as the first CCNSPs.
SnapperNet director Richard Paul says the certification programme gives resellers confidence they can properly sell and support Cyberoam’s offerings.
“Without our reseller partners we could never serve customers on the ground in throughout New Zealand,” says Paul. “CCNSP certified resellers receive qualified sales leads from us and high-level direct support from Cyberoam.”
SnapperNet will hold another CCNSP course in 2011. This will be followed by a Cyberoam Certified Network and Security Expert (CCNSE) course, the next step in Cyberoam’s certification ladder. CCSNE is an advanced qualification for CCNSP-certified professionals to show expertise in complex Cyberoam security deployments for the enterprise, learn about advanced debugging and troubleshooting issues and deepen their understanding of Cyberoam UTM’s identity-based architecture, the company says.
