AVG’s Direct Renewal Guarantee (DRG) program, announced last March, has already returned over NZ$45,000 to over 10% of AVG resellers in the ANZ region.
The program was created to overcome resellers’ concerns over losing revenue when customers renew, increase or upgrade their licences directly with AVG, via the website. “The AVG Direct Renewal Guarantee is resonating with resellers. In just a few months it’s had a really positive impact on our relationship with all our active resellers, building their trust and, very importantly, showing them we’re listening,” commented Michael Dowling, corporate sales director for AVG in the ANZ region. AVG has recently added extra resources to the program, to help support its network, and is expected to sign its 4,000th reseller in the ANZ region in early 2011. “Reseller loyalty and engagement is a fundamental foundation of our reseller program, so we are always looking for ways to add value,” added Dowling.
