Datacom strikes gold with Microsoft

Datacom New Zealand has become the first local partner to achieve a gold competency in Microsoft's new Partner Network scheme, which is soon to become effective.

Microsoft revealed the new programme last July and partners have been making the transition since then. Under the Partner Network, resellers can earn Silver or Gold competencies in 29 areas of specialty.

Datacom was a gold certified partner in Microsoft's earlier programme, and specialises in the .Net, BizTalk, Dynamics, SQL Server, Exchange and business intelligence areas of Microsoft's portfolio.

It has achieved gold competency in volume licensing and plans to add more competencies in the next few months.
