EMC boosts trans-Tasman backup and recovery division

EMC ANZ has made four appointments to its backup and recovery systems (BRS) division.

The company says BRS is its fastest-growing product segment and experienced 100 percent year on year growth.

The new appointments include David Allinson, who has become ANZ channel director for the division.

They also include Shane Moore, who is the division’s new marketing manager for Asia Pacific and Japan, and Shaun McLagan, the division’s ANZ sales director.

The fourth addition is Mike Sparkes, appointed as marketing director for the division in ANZ.

Allison is the former Asia Pacific regional director at Veeam Software, and he has held various channel management roles at VMware and Microsoft.
