Maclean scoops management scholarship

Maclean CEO Chris Maclean is the Upper North Island winner of the first Ernst and Young Icehouse owner/manager programme scholarship for 2010.

He will receive funding toward the tuition costs to attend the 17 day owner/manager programme hosted by the Icehouse.

Chris was recently appointed CEO of the company and he is extremely driven and focused on taking the business to the next level – which makes him an ideal candidate to attend our ... programme,” says The Icehouse spokesperson Maria Taylor.

He joined the company in 2007 and become CEO in 2009.

Maclean says his company's biggest challenge is finding the right staff to resource its growht plans, followed by ensuring it stays relevant to the market as the IT landscape changes.

"I’m looking forward to taking advantage of this programme to help me in planning the next step change of growth and evolution of the company.”
