Connector Systems to relaunch Ruckus Big Dog partner program

After certifying a total of 40 new Ruckus WiSEGuys during the last quarter of 2010, Connector Systems has announced that it will relaunch the partner program in 2011.

According to Dasent, the program will be put in place again next year and will offer a range of additional benefits for partners such as discounts and web-based training. Ruckus WiSEGuy certification is one of the pre-requisites for joining the partner programme.

“Ruckus Wi-Fi Solutions Engineer (WiSE) certification ensures that successful candidates have the necessary knowledge and skills to design, deploy, manage, and support wireless networks with Ruckus ZoneFlex products”, said Mark Dasent, general manager, Networking and Wireless, at Connector Systems.

“Having experienced outstanding momentum and significant wins in the education market in 2010, Ruckus and Connector Systems believe demand for Ruckus product will continue to grow exponentially” added the general manager.

Dates and venues will be confirmed in the new year.

Malwarebytes shoots the breeze with channel, prospects

A Kumeu, Auckland, winery was the venue for a Malwarebytes event for partner and prospect MSPs - with some straight shooting on the side. The half-day getaway, which featured an archery competition, lunch and wine-tasting aimed at bringing Malwarebytes' local New Zealand and top and prospective MSP partners together to celebrate recent local successes, and discuss the current state of malware in New Zealand. This was also a unique opportunity for local MSPs to learn about how they can get the most out of Malwarebytes' MSP program and offering, as more Kiwi businesses are targeted by malware.
