Brocade has appointed Edgar Dias as regional director of its enterprise business for Asia Pacific, based in Singapore. He will also manage Brocade's direct-touch sales force.
Dias will develop programmes to grow Brocade’s enterprise networking portfolio in the region across enterprise verticals, specifically government, media and entertainment, high performance computing, education and healthcare.
Prior to joining Brocade, Dias was sales director at Juniper Networks where he was responsible for its campus and datacentre businesses. Before that, Dias spent 10 years at Nortel Networks where he oversaw sales of its data communications product portfolio across Asia, Middle East and Africa.
“There are signs of real momentum for Brocade in the Asia Pacific enterprise market in both our traditional storage networking business as well as our newer IP/Ethernet networking business” says Dias. “My role is to promote the value of our Brocade One unified network strategy and portfolio to enterprise customers across this region that serves as a strategic foundation for Brocade’s growth overall.”
