Juniper trains partners

Juniper Networks has announced the launch of its Continuing Education Program, a new training program for partners, focused on cloud networking, security, switching, routing and mobility.

The new program is available to Juniper partners for free, through a variety of on-demand formats such as online testing, webcasts, videos and virtual demonstrations.

The company will reward partners who join the program with specialised accreditations of expertise. Data centre and switching accreditations are already available.

Juniper’s training program is divided into two categories: sales and technical. Partners will earn credits once they have successfully completed the exam and these are recognised through certificates and non-monetary rewards. After reaching a specified amount of credits in a category, a partner can be awarded one of three designations: Sales or Technical Generalist, Advisor or Master.

The company will introduce further accreditations in areas such as security and mobility at the 2011 Juniper Partner Conference, to take place between 11 and 13 April. Additional accreditations around specific technologies including Security and Mobility will be introduced at the 2011 Juniper Partner Conference, April 11-13. The Continuing Education Program and Learning Academy are available through the company’s Partner Center.
