Desktop Imaging nets exclusive PSIGEN deal

Wellington-based Desktop Imaging is introducing US document capture and scanning provider PSIGEN’s software to the Australia and New Zealand region, after securing an exclusive distribution deal.

The company is now actively seeking resellers in the region. “We’re building our reseller channel at the moment,” says Desktop Imaging CEO Braden Rowe. “It’s a niche market so it has to be very targeted.”

Desktop Imaging believes the point of difference for PSIGEN’s software is that it is “more dynamic than its competitors”, says Rowe. He adds the newly-signed agreement is “a natural part of our evolution as a business”.

“We have looked for a strong distribution partner with a solid technical understanding of the capture space in New Zealand and Australia, and finally found a great combination in Desktop Imaging,” says Bruce Hensley, the president of PSIGEN. “We look forward to working hand-in-hand with them to continue to expand our market presence in the region.”
