Businesses discuss the cloud

IDC's Cloud for Business 2011 conference will take place in Auckland on 22 March and bring together New Zealand businesses to find out how enterprise IT is rapidly changing from a landscape of servers, networks and computers to one of services that enable business processes.

Microsoft's cloud lead Steven Hornblow and Leanne Buer, head cloud infrastructure services for Gen-i will be speaking at the conference and talking about how businesses can leverage the power of the cloud.

The event will also include a case study presentation on the key pain points and successes encountered by an organisation moving to the cloud.
