Gold for Olympic Software

Olympic Software has become the first Microsoft Dynamics GP partner to receive gold certification in the Enterprise Resource Planning category.

For Joe McLeod, the company’s managing director, the certification shows the level of quality delivered to customers. “We are very excited to achieve gold status in the ERP category. The new Microsoft Partner Network regulations are much stricter than before, so it is great to see we are able to compete at this level.”

“Olympic Software was part of the stable of IT companies that introduced Microsoft Dynamics GP to New Zealand in the late 80’s. We aim to continually extend and revitalise our clients’ investment in order to provide a complete solution for their business needs. It is this experience and unique service that has led to our recent success.”

Microsoft partners need to demonstrate the ability to meet customers’ evolving needs in order to earn gold competency, says Microsoft’s director of partner strategy, Brent Colbert.

“The Microsoft Gold Competency signifies to the market that a company has demonstrated the highest level of skill and achievement within a given technology specialisation. By achieving the Gold competency for ERP, Olympic Software is demonstrating it has the skills, expertise, and resources to deploy financial and supply chain management solutions to meet its customers’ needs,” said Colbert.

The new Microsoft Partner Network, launched in October 2010, provides partners with ranked certification in 27 predetermined solution categories. Olympic Software currently holds a gold certification in ERP, along with Silver certifications in Independent Software Vendor, Application Integration, Web Development and Software Development.
