Distribution Central partner programme returns

Distribution Central's annual business development programme for the channel, DC Experience 2011, returned as of March 1.

The programme was started in 2010 to help the distributor's partners in Australia and New Zealand develop business in emerging technologies. The programme runs through June 30.

“We are very proud to be [launching] DC Experience for the second year in a row," says Nick Verykios, sales and marketing director, in a statement. "[It] focuses on our partners' ability to build their business in

the areas of high-growth and highly profitable advanced and emerging technologies and rewards them for this growth.”

Last year's programme rewarded partners in five reseller categories based on revenue earned from vendors, cross-product selling, and renewal and licence management goals.

This year there will be a total of 10 successful DC Experience partners – two per business unit in Australia and two New Zealand partners – who will get the opportunity to send a representative on the DC Experience grand prize.

Last year’s DC Experience winners were Bridge IT, Dimension Data, Diversified Computing & Consulting, Frontline Systems, IPSec, Loop Technology, Sholl Communications, xpanse, Fujitsu NZ and Turnstone.

DC Experience is supported by Avaya, Plantronics and Riverbed in New Zealand.
