Job Title: CEO

Background: Entrepreneur

Ryan Balemi formed Pulse IT in 1999 based on the belief that mid-sized New Zealand businesses

deserve the computer network innovations, efficiencies, support and economies of scale that were previously

only available to well-funded corporations. Ten years on, more and more local organisations,

in sectors as diverse as education, manufacturing, health and fitness, motoring services, interiors and

design, legal and financial services and media, are enjoying the benefits of increased productivity and

return on IT investment.

Balemi credits his team with Pulse’s success. “I only wish that I could claim personal qualities that

allow me to perform my job so well. The truth is, however, the team has so much talent and customer

focus that it is in fact their qualities that have driven Pulse IT’s growth. In the past couple of years,

it has been amazing to watch the team take more and more initiative in developing the business and

ensuring that the values and heart of the business are maintained.”
