Infor and KernMobile join forces

Business application software provider Infor has signed a reseller partnership agreement with KernMobile, a tran-Tasman company providing work management systems for organisations with mobile workforces.

Under the agreement, Infor will resell the KernMobile solution to extend the value of Infor Hansen Enterprise Asset Management, which is used internationally within local government and utilities organisations.

According to Greg McCormick, Infor’s sales director for the public sector in the ANZ region, the partnership is the natural result of the existing relationship between the two companies. “It completes the big picture,” says McCormick.

The deal is currently in place in the ANZ region. “We’re in negotiations with some organisations, in the final stages of getting the contracts.” He says customer feedback has, so far, been positive. “‘Ease of use’, is a key phrase customers keep coming back to.

“We now have a truly complete enterprise management system. The market is being wowed by this,” McCormick claims.

As a result of this partnership, Infor and KernMobile expect to achieve increased sales and a bigger market share both at a local level, mirroring global growth.

“KernMobile is excited about the formalisation of our relationship with Infor across Australia and New Zealand.

With a number of KernMobile installations already in place that work in line with Infor Hansen 7 and 8 products, the formal relationship with Infor gives clients security going forward knowing that KernMobile will be supported and grow in line with the Infor Hansen product,” says Kerry Connors, Kern Mobile’s founder and managing director.
