Canon appoints new MD

Canon has appointed a new managing director for New Zealand

Canon has announced the appointment of Yusuke Mizoguchi to the newly-created role of managing director in New Zealand.

The company says the new role is part of a wider investment strategy in the New Zealand market.

The new MD will start on his new role in January and his responsibilities will span Canon’s complete imaging product, supplies and service portfolios. Mike Johnston, Canon's country manager in New Zealand, will leave the company in the first quarter of 2012, the company has said.

“This appointment will help us further build upon the progress Mike Johnston has made over the past five years in strengthening Canon as the leading imaging company in New Zealand,” says Taz Nakamasu, chairman of Canon New Zealand Limited.
