SnapperNet has signed a partnership with Auckland-based importer ClikOnce to expand the distribution of ioSafe's disaster recovery and business continuity-focused hard drives.
The partnership covers the entire range of ioSafe products, including the ioSafe Solo, SoloPro fireproof/waterproof external hard drives, as well as the ioSafe rugged portable drive.
“We’re excited to be able to offer our resellers this unique new product range,” says SnapperNet director Richard Paul in a statement.
He says the deal "presents a great extension to our existing NAS data storage solutions". "It’s a disaster plan in a box.”
According to Paul, ioSafe's solutions are designed for “companies and individuals who want their data backup close at hand and want the assurance of knowing that their data is physically protected from almost any event, with the added comfort of knowing that access to a forensic data recovery service is part of the initial purchase price".
“SnapperNet’s existing reseller channel, product range and distribution warehouse, combined with our expertise, will help ensure the critical data of New Zealand companies is better protected," says Craig Robins, managing director of ClikOnce. He says that "NZ businesses often that a "she'll be right" or "set and forget" approach to backup and disaster recovery" and that risks can be easily mitigated "by the simple act of backing up critical data".
