EMC makes ANZ appointment

Dan Kieran is the company's new national manager of Mid-Tier Storage in the ANZ

EMC has announced the appointment of Dan Kieran as the company's new national manager for Mid-Tier Storage in Australia and New Zealand.

Kieran takes up this newly created role with EMC to lead an ANZ team in both the mid-market and enterprise segments for Unified Storage solutions.

Having experienced significant growth in the last year, EMC continues to perform strongly across all business units in ANZ each quarter, and as such continues to attract and retain top talent in the technology industry," says David Webster, president, EMC Australia and New Zealand and South East Asia.

“Dan Kieran’s appointment is further testament to our success in the region. He brings a great wealth of knowledge and experience to the company and I am pleased to welcome him to this important new role," he adds.

Kieran joins EMC after 13 years at Sun Oracle in Canada and more recently Australia where he held the position of senior director of Storage Sales for ANZ. Prior to that, Kieran worked in sales at IBM and Xerox, as well as the Canadian Navy and Naval Reserves – where he specialised in Navigation and Mine Counter Measures.
