WatchGuard has launched the third edition of its Elite partner and reseller competition for ANZ companies.
The company is this year introducing a new category to recognise individual sales performances.
“This is our premiere reward club and only the “best of the best” get inducted. Members of the Elite Club are rewarded with a trip for four days and three nights to a glamorous destination which we will announce later on in the year. With continued growth in IT security and changing IT requirements resulting from issues such as cloud computing, virtualisation and BYOD, our customers are increasingly looking to work with expert and professional channel vendors. Elite 2012 recognises our capability to work with the channel in delivering solutions that enable customers to realise exceptional returns on their WatchGuard investment,” says Scott Robertson, vice president, Asia Pacific, Channels and Alliances, WatchGuard Technologies.
Elite winners are measured on sales growth and performance from October 2011 through to September 2012 and the winners of different categories receive resort packages.
“Last year, we hosted 30 partners on the Gold Coast with three action packed days and nights, including a race day where each person took a Holden SS Commodore for six “hot laps” around a closed track. We’re in our third year now and it just keeps getting better,” says Robertson.
