Intel beefs up ANZ team

Vendor makes two senior appointments

Intel has made two senior appointments for the ANZ region, with Anna Torres becoming national marketing manager and V. R. Rajkumar (Raj) taking up the role of national reseller channel manager.

“Anna and Raj have both been prominent and influential members of the Intel team for a number of years and will bring strong direction and vision to their new roles," says recently appointed ANZ general manager Kate Burleigh.

As national marketing manager, Torres will be responsible for the overall marketing strategy for Intel ANZ and will manage a team which includes advertising, public relations, retail, online, partner and channel marketing. She has been with Intel for nine years and previously held the title of PR manager for ANZ.

In his new role as national reseller channel manager, Rajkumar will manage Intel’s local channel and branded distribution sales team. He first joined Intel in 2000, based in India, before moving to Australia with Intel in 2005. He has held the role of Intel ANZ distribution manager since 2007.
