CA Technologies has launched a new global partner programme and is looking to deepen its relationship with partners in New Zealand, the company says.
Klaise Holtzhausen, CA’s senior director of sales in the ANZ region, says the new programme is “an enhancement of what has been available to partners” and adds that the goal is to make it “easier for partners to do business with CA. Anybody can join at a member level and then you can move up.”
The new programme includes a platform-agnostic end-to-end solutions portfolio, support to partners and cloud enablement, through the development of solutions based on each partner’s unique value proposition, along with marketing, sales, and technical enablement tools to help accelerate the sales cycle for cloud computing.
“We’re helping our partners innovate and help them deliver innovative services. It’s about how we can help them on that journey,” says Holtzhausen.
Current CA partners will be added to the new programme as members and can register on the company’s new partner portal to receive targeted content.
According to Holtzhausen, CA has recently re-engaged with Westcon in the country. “We are looking to accelerate that part of the business in New Zealand.”
The vendor will also host its Partner Exchange event this month in Wellington on May 15 and in Auckland on May 16.
CA has also announced the appointment of three new senior directors of sales for three different industry verticals in the ANZ region. Kevin Brough is the new senior director of sales for telecommunications and media, Craig Williams takes on the same role for the banking, financial services and insurance areas, while Richard Kulkarni is now senior director of sales for commercial and state government.
Mark Bennett, who prior to joining CA led the Australian professional services business at Gen-i, is the vendor’s new vice president of services for Australia and New Zealand.
“The domain expertise of these new appointments allows us to focus on growing our business further in markets that are key to CA Technologies,” says ANZ managing director Bill McMurray. “These are industry-recognised leaders that will significantly strengthen our local management team.”
