Annual event to take place on September 4 to 7

Microsoft TechEd 2012 registrations are now open and this year's edition of the annual event will take place in Auckland, at Sky City Convention Centre, on September 4 to 7.

The vendor says it expects the event to sell out and advises IT professionals to get their registrations in quick.

This year's event has been extended to four days with the keynote presentation being run as an afternoon event followed by a welcome reception for networking.

Microsoft will also introduce "Birds of a Feather" sessions where delegates can discuss hot topics with experts and it will also have an on-site Exam Cram and Microsoft Certification Centre.

This year's TechFest, which makes the closing down of the event, will be held in The Cloud on Auckland's Queen Wharf.
