Adobe has announced three new Auckland-based appointments to solidify its presence in the New Zealand market.
Richard Hooper has been hired as New Zealand business development manager, focusing on growing the market share for Adobe's digital media business, including the Acrobat and Creative Suite lines, as well as the new Digital Publishing Suite.
The company has also announced the appointment of Earl Tipene as solutions consultant. Tipene will advise customers and channel partners on the best solutions for their business.
In a third appointment, Owen Harris will take up the role of senior web experience management consultant for the Asia Pacific region.
“New Zealand businesses are looking for smarter ways to engage with their customers, and Adobe offers a range of solutions across both Digital Media and Digital Marketing that can help them to do this," says Paul Robson, Adobe's ANZ managing director. "Each of our three new team members brings a wealth of experience to Adobe and will strengthen our presence in New Zealand."
The software vendor has recently released Creative Suite 6 with over 100 new features and enhancements over the previous version. Robson recently described the release as Adobe's biggest ever release and says this it represents a huge opportunity for New Zealand resellers to take the new product to market.
