Altech to take Rapoo to New Zealand market

Peripheral manufacturer Rapoo has appointed Altech Computers as its distribution partner in New Zealand.

According to a statement released by Rapoo, Altech will be carrying the complete range of the company's products. Rapoo specialises in wireless mice.

“Rapoo has been fortunate to partner with a distributor such as Altech," says Rapoo’s ANZ country manager, Ken Ou Young, formerly of AOC. "They are growing their presence in New Zealand.”

The Australia-based distributor opened offices in New Zealand in 2008. Ou Young says Altech is Rapoo's first distributor in New Zealand.

“We are excited at the addition of Rapoo to the Altech product range," Michael Chong, Altech’s ANZ general manager says in a statement. "Together we can positively drive sales.”

Rapoo claims to be "the world’s largest wireless peripheral manufacturer", shipping five million units of mice worldwide every month.
