Symantec launches SMB promotion for partners

Promotion closes on October 31

Symantec has announced the launch of its SMB Specialised Rev Up 2012 promotion for ANZ partners focusing on small to medium sized businesses. The vendor will offer the top 10 SMB partners from this promotion two tickets each to the Telstra 500 V8 Supercar race meeting. Partners who exceed their targets by the greatest percentage will be able to attend the event, held November 30 – December 2, at the Sydney Olympic Park. Winning partners will enjoy the Symantec corporate suite above the pits, mingle with leading V8 Supercars drivers and tour the pit area.

The promotion period runs from now through to October 31 (inclusive) and eligible product families are Backup Exec, Symantec Endpoint Protection, and Symantec Protection Suites. Partners can also use this promotion to benefit from the Symantec SymPlus programme.

“Symantec is committed to helping its channel partners grow their SMB business in the market across Australia and New Zealand,” says Peter Vasey, SMB channel marketing manager, Pacific region, Symantec. “The start of a new financial year is the perfect time for partners to focus on growth and profitability and the Symantec SMB Specialised Rev Up 2012 promotion is a great way to give our partners extra incentives to increase their targets, goals and lap the competition. In addition, to support our SMB Specialised partners  in growing their business, Symantec is continuing to invest resources in driving end-user customer demand for our SMB focused products.”

Winners from outside the Sydney area will be provided with a contribution to their travel costs and race days will be allocated based on finishing order.
