Observatory Crest first to distribute HP Enterprise Security suite

Company working with HP to expand its distribution of HP ArcSight solutions

Observatory Crest has signed an agreement with HP to distribute the vendor's Enteprise Security Products in Australia and New Zealand.

The company has announced that it is working with HP’s Enterprise Security Products group to expand its distribution of HP ArcSight solutions to include HP EnterpriseView, as well as solutions spanning the HP Tipping Point and HP Fortify product lines.

The deal means that Observatory Crest is the first Australian and New Zealand distributor of HP Enterprise Security Products group’s entire range of enterprise security products. “Today’s malicious attacks don’t threaten one part of the infrastructure at one time,” says Observatory Crest's director Martin Christmas. “IT teams have to be constantly vigilant of the entire hybrid environment including network access, cloud computing and mobile-enabled applications, to minimise harm from unlimited enterprise security threats." “Simply put ‘What you don’t know, can hurt you.’  This is a constant headache, particularly for businesses that lack the comprehensive security tools to provide a single view of their IT infrastructure," he adds. “HP’s solutions not only address this concern but provide businesses with the security intelligence to take a proactive approach to managing both external and internal threats and risks.  Security now has to be at the core of an organisation."
