Kiwi Wynyard named 'top vendor' by Chartis Research

Jade Software's subsidiary Wynyard Group has been named a top vendor in the seventh annual RiskTech100 rankings

The Wynyard Group, a subsidiary of Jade Software specialiast in solutions to protect companies from crime and corruption, has been named a top vendor in the seventh annual RiskTech100 rankings compiled by Chartis Research, a global risk technology markets research and analysis company.

The kiwi company, which was launched in March this year, placed number 29, ahead of long established specialist risk management software providers.

Wynyard's solutions solutions are used to help organisations better understand their exposure, improve the visibility of risk across the enterprise and to detect, prevent and combat financial crime including fraud and money laundering.

The market for risk technology continues to expand apace as businesses across the globe acknowledge its

necessity and value. Wynyard Group is one of the few firms leading the way in the next generation of risk management connecting advanced techniques to better assess risk, detect and prevent crime from occurring. Its high placement is a reflection of this," says Peyman Mestchian, managing partner at Chartis Research.

For Craig Richardson, CEO of Wynyard Group, the placement in the report shows the company's strength as a "global provider of intelligence-led risk management solutions". "The report highlights the importance of integrated risk management to comply with regulations and assess risk and also the application of next generation machine learning to detect, prevent and combat financial crime," he adds.

The report is a result of a survey of some 9000 risk management technology buyers globally.

On the same day, the company has also announced a partnership with Ireland-based ANSEC IA Limited which will see Wynyard's solutions deployed in Ireland and the UK. "The strategic alliance is part of Wynyard's strategy to grow its business in the region and to lead the global technology fight to combat growing crime, corruption and threat," says Richardson.

“We are committed to growing our presence in the UK which is a key market for Wynyard. This partnership is a significant step for us to achieve this and we are excited at the prospect of working with ANSEC who is well respected for its work with the Northern Ireland Government," he adds.
