Symantec appoints new channels leader

Klasie Holtzhausen to cover New Zealand in role as senior director of Pacific channels

Symantec has appointed Klasie Holtzhausen as its sennior directof of Pacific channels, which includes Australia and New Zealand.

Holtzhausen comes to Symantec from CA Technologies where he led channels for Australia and New Zealand, according to a statement. The Sydney-based Holtzhausen has also held a number of channel related roles at IBM.

Holtzhausen takes over for Jeff Arndt, who is said to have left Symantec to pursue other opportunities.
