Company to distribute Actifio Copy Data Storage solution in New Zealand

Westcon has signed an agreement with Actifio to distribute its Copy Data storage solution throughout New Zealand, the company has announced.

According to Westcon, the platform is experiencing rapid adoption by partners and users across the region.

"By virtualising the storage and management of data, Actifio can replace any or all of the siloed

data protection and availability storage applications a company might be using, with a single

system that’s purpose-built to manage copy data," says Westcon in a release.

This is a disruptive technology that is becoming widely and rapidly accepted, and Joe Hassell, Actifio™ NZ Solution Architect says, "We are seeing huge interest, particularly from Government, enterprise and service provider markets with multiple implementations across diverse industry verticals," says Joe Hassell, Actifio NZ solution architect.

Westcon Group NZ sees Actifio as an excellent fit with their “Greenhouse” Portfolio for new and innovative technologies. "Right now Actifio is extremely relevant in our market. Any organisation that has business critical systems that require a development, test and production environment should be seriously looking at Actifio to help with efficiencies, cost and risk reduction," says Darryl Grauman, Westcon Group NZ national manager – Innovation and Services.

Actifio’s showcase regional event for Asia Pacific and Japan will be held at Cockle Bay in Sydney on April 23 and 24. For further details or registration, please email sales@westcongroup.co.nz.
