Cisco makes key regional appointments

Company appoints new leader of Cisco ANZ

Cisco has announced the appointment of Ken Boal as the new managing director of Cisco Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).

Boal previously led the Enterprise and Public Sector Business for Cisco ANZ and, effective immediately, will report into Jaime Vallés, president of Asia Pacific, Japan and Greater China.

He joined Cisco in 2004 and led the company's engagement in the public sector with Australia’s federal, state and territory governments, defence, education and healthcare. His role recently expanded to also include the enterprise customer segment. In this role, Boal was responsible for identifying and leading growth and development in the enterprise and public sectors as well as managing the sales force that drive Cisco business in these areas.

It’s an honour to be appointed to lead Cisco ANZ and I look forward to continuing to drive Cisco's engagement with our customers, partners and the industry to capture new business value and enable these exciting new possibilities,” says Boal.

The company has also announced the appointment of Richard Kitts to the role of vice president of Services for the Asia Pacific, Japan and Greater China (APJC) region.

Kitts previously led Cisco Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) and, effectively immediately, will report into Nick Earle, Senior Vice President of Services Worldwide Field Operations.
