Ingram Micro has appointed three new senior staff members to its team. Rachel McBeth, Warren Tuck and Steve Laurence are the three new key hires announced by the distributor.
“We’re thrilled to have Rachel, Warren and Steve joining us. They’re all extremely capable, bring a wealth of expertise from across the channel spectrum and will be a very welcome addition to the team,” says Gary Bigwood, the company's NZ managing director.
“Needless to say, there was strong competition from other companies looking to acquire their services, and I’m very pleased they’ve elected to join Ingram Micro,” he adds.
McBeth has been appointed senior business manager HP (PSG & EG) and Microsoft. She has spent more than 20 years in the IT industry in a wide range of roles. 2013 marks a return to Ingram Micro for Rachel; she previously spent eight years at Tech Pacific (then Ingram Micro from 2004 when Tech Pacific was acquired by
Ingram Micro) starting in 2001.
Tuck is Ingram Micro's new market development manager for IBM. He has worked in the IT industry for 30 years and, for most of his career, worked in the Waikato for companies including BusinessWorld, Southmark,
Computerland and Gen-i.
Previously with Cisco and with Gen-i, Laurence now joins Ingram Micro to leverage his experience as the company's new business development manager for Cisco. He has worked in the industry for more than 25 years. Laurence has had extensive experience on the vendor side of the channel as well as the reseller side, having worked at Cisco, HP, Toshiba and Lenovo.
