New VP and country manager to grow business across the region

Hitachi Data Systems has announced the appointment of Neil Evans as vice president and country manager for Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.

Based in Sydney, Evans will have the overall responsibility of growing business across the region and will manage all operational aspects, including driving business strategies, setting performance goals, and growing overall profitability of the company.

He joins the Hitachi Data Systems ANZ team from Europe where he was regional vice president and general manager of Eastern EMEA, managing a region comprising 38 countries.

“I am thrilled to be joining a high-achieving region for Hitachi Data Systems in an organisation that enables its customers to truly innovate with information. I am looking forward to carrying on the great work Neville has done supporting our customers across the region," says Evans.
