Lenovo refreshes its Partner Rebate Programme

Lenovo ANZ is adjusting its Partner Rebate Programme to enabled contracted partners to receive a rebate for every first dollar spent.

According to Lenovo ANZ managing director, Matt Codrington, the new rebate program is designed to further enable partners to grow with the company, improve ease of doing business, and strengthen the commitment to PC. "Across A/NZ, Lenovo has achieved consistent growth and invites customers to continue to expand its portfolio of products with the company," he said.

Codrington said the vendor will continue to invest in the provision of marketing support to channel partners, particularly through its Lenovo Partner Portal.

"We will introduce a new pricing methodology to improve on pricing turnaround times," he said.

To ensure that partners constantly have access to "new and exciting products" to demonstrate for customers, Codrington said Lenovo is "committed to investing in PC development and innovation."

When Lenovo spoke about its partner program in 2012, the key theme at the time was growth, and while Codrington said the objective is still a priority, Lenovo has refined the program for 2013 to foster "greater opportunity and flexibility" for its channel partners.

In addition to the introduction of rebates paid from the first dollar to target, the Lenovo Partner Advantage (LPA) incentive program will continue to reward partners and their sales teams.

Bonus LPA and rebate for acquisition business comes the way of the "New Rewards for New Business" customer acquisition program, which also provides an incentive for opportunity registration.
