Anyware Corporation signs distie deal with Pivos Technology Group

Anyware Corporation has inked a distie deal with media platform development and embedded technology vendor, Pivos Technology Group

Computer accessories and high-end peripherals distributor, Anyware Corporation, has inked a distie deal with media platform development and embedded technology vendor, Pivos Technology Group.

As per the agreement, Anyware will distribute Pivos Technology Group's complete line of consumer-based media devices and accessories, including the XIOS DS Media Play, in A/NZ.

Anyware Corporation said, in a statement, that the distribution agreement with Pivos Technology Group represents the brand's increasing worldwide footprint on entertainment and embedded technologies for the home.

"There is a demand for an open and flexible media platform such as the XIOS DS. Pivos' ongoing developments with XBMC will ensure our audience gets the proper support and even greater products ahead," Anyware Corporation managing director, Garrison Huang, said.

Pivos Technology marketing vice-president, Johnny Neang, said Pivos is eager to increase market penetration and the partnership with Anyware Corporation is its first step in the move.

"We picked Anyware for its distribution of high-end consumer products, and we are pleased to partner with Anyware to make our media products available to customers in this territory," he added.

Anyware has been on an expansion spree, most recently also signing a distie agreement with Innergie and tweaking its focus to include mobile products alongside its PC peripherals market play.
