Two new appointments to look after Microsoft Xbox portfolio

Synnex has appointed Matt Read to the role of product manager responsible for Microsoft Xbox and Christchurch-based Heath Wallace as logistics account manager, also to look after the Microsoft Xbox portfolio.

According to the company's country manager Richard Harri, these two additions to the team come from the Synnex's recent exclusive agreement to distribute Microsoft's Xbox and Surface in New Zealand.

Prior to joining Synnex, Read worked with Ingram Micro for six years where he had experience as a buyer, an assistant product manager and most lately as a product manager for a variety of brands, the most recent of which was Microsoft Xbox.

Wallace also joins Synnex from Ingram Micro and will be tasked with managing Synnex national retail relationships and helping grow the South Island business. Prior to working for Ingram, Wallace worked for Soft Print Interactive and also spent some time at Noel Leeming Group.

Harri says the company is still looking for two additional staff to join the team in Auckland.
