Extreme Networks has announced the appointment of George Siamos as country manager Australia and New Zealand.
The company says it is accelerating sales and marketing initiatives and target markets include education campuses, data centres and the mobilisation of enterprise networks.
Siamos was promoted from Australian southern region sales manager to his new position. After gaining a BE degree in Communication Engineering from RMIT University , he has notched up 17 years’ experience in ICT. Before joining Extreme Networks in 2011 he was an account manager for Singtel Optus, looking after high-end key accounts . Earlier he held managerial, sales and technical positions with Oracle, Telstra and Nortel Networks.
