Distributor gets Riverbed award for the second year in a row

Distribution Central has been named the Riverbed Technology ANZ Partner of the Year 2012, in a ceremony at the Riverbed APJ Partner Awards in Macau.

The Riverbed Partner Awards recognise partners that demonstrated success in implementing Riverbed performance solutions for customers, grew revenues and business, and invested in their relationship with Riverbed.

Distribution Central has been a Riverbed Value-Added Distributor (VAD) since 2007 and was also awarded ANZ Distributor of the Year at last year’s Riverbed APJ Partner Conference.

“We’re very proud to be recognised two years in a row by Riverbed. Both awards are an acknowledgement of our unique channel enablement model that has been evolving through our innovative approach to channel development and has proven to be successful since we launched in 2004,” says Distribution Central managing director, Nick Verykios.

“As global organisations implement new datacentre architectures, the Riverbed partner network is providing these customers with the right performance solutions to ensure the efficiency of their strategic IT initiatives,” says Joe McPhillips, ANZ channel director at Riverbed. “With this award, we applaud Distribution Central’s performance and achievements as a Riverbed partner in 2012, and look forward to Distribution Central continuing to raise the bar for delivering business value in 2013.”
