Jabra and Ingram Micro team up

Ingram Micro will distribute the vendor's complete range of Call Centre and Office products

Jabra has appointed Ingram Micro to distribute the company’s complete range of call centre and office products in the ANZ region.

The distribution agreement includes Jabra’s full range of products.

“We’re delighted to sign Jabra up as a partner," says Jon Fox, enterprise business manager, Ingram Micro Australia. "We see it as a great opportunity to link in with our existing Cisco and Microsoft businesses as we look to enhance our offerings in the growing unified communications market. This partnership will allow Jabra to leverage our extensive reach into the Australian reseller community, and perhaps introduce Ingram Micro to some resellers we may not have dealt with in the past."

According to Soren Schoennemann, Jabra ANZ managing director, “Ingram Micro’s extensive local experience will allow Jabra to significantly increase awareness and adoption of our products in this region. Asia-Pacific is one of our fastest growing markets for unified communications solutions and it is critical for us to establish strong relationships with distributors across A/NZ that can add significant value to our proposition," he adds. “Our collaboration with Ingram Micro will also be beneficial in reaching a larger reseller database and in particular Cisco channels, given our existing relationship in product co-development."

Jabra says it has also extended its support to its partner network with the launch of the Jabra Business Tool, an iPad sales app.
