Alcatel-Lucent appoints ANZ lead

Maud Holvast takes up VP role

Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise has appointed Maud Holvast as the company’s new vice president for the Australia and New Zealand region.  

 

Prior to making the move from the Netherlands, Holvast held the position of country manager of the Netherlands operations responsible for developing business relationships with partners and end users. With over ten years of experience in enterprise business of the company, Holvast brings with her extensive knowledge of the business and strong understanding of the needs of the channel.

 

“This is a company I know well and we are focused on enabling more collaborative multimedia conversations with our OpenTouch communication and Application Fluent network solutions. We have seen the level of excitement already generated with our partners and I look forward to working with the team here to help enterprises embrace new opportunities in the Personal Cloud Era,” says Holvast.

 

Holvast is a seasoned professional in the ICT industry having held a number of positions at KPN and CMG Wireless Data Solutions before joining Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise.

 

“The ways people are communicating are rapidly being redefined by the technology evolution and this is accelerating the need for business to adopt new business models. There is a lot of buzz around innovation in Australia as organisations look to invest in mobility and the cloud and we are well positioned to leverage this with our strong roadmap of product development,” she adds.

 

Holvast will be making the move from the Netherlands to Sydney for the new role.
