LANDesk Software has announced the appointment of two new senior staff members for the Asia Pacific region. Geoff Masters has been appointed managing director of Asia Pacific and Susan Lang has been named country manager for Australia and New Zealand.
Geoff Masters has more than 25 years of experience in building technology organisations across the Asia Pacific region, including Japan, India and China. Most recently, he was VP of Numara Software Asia Pacific, a BMC company. Previously, he held numerous Asia Pacific managing director and VP roles for global companies such as Sterling Software, Computer Associates and Altiris. Masters has also served in CEO and director-level positions at companies he has taken through IPOs on the Australian Stock Exchange. In his role at LANDesk, Masters will oversee all sales, marketing, operations and channel for the Asia Pacific region based out of Singapore.

Susan Lang brings over 20 years of experience in the IT Industry to LANDesk, working as an executive in sales positions across both small and large multi-national corporations. Based in Sydney, Lang has experience that spans hardware, software and services sales. Her most recent role was as the Commercial Sales Manager at BMC Software Australia. She has also worked for EMC, Symantec, HP and IBM, successfully leveraging both direct and indirect sales models. Lang has a Bachelor Degree in Marketing from Charles Sturt University and has completed leadership training at the Institute for Management Development in Lausanne, Switzerland.
