Anyware NZ turns 10

Distributor to mark occasion with promotions, and event at end of July

Anyware Computer Accessories, an importer and distributor of computer accessories in Australia and New Zealand, is celebrating its first decade in New Zealand.

Originally based in both Melbourne and Sydney, Anyware expanded first into Perth, then Brisbane and Adelaide before crossing the Tasman in July of 2003. These humble beginnings involved much learning about this new, challenging market which necessitated slight adjustments to the existing business model utilised throughout the Australian branches. Initial contribution from existing Anyware staff eventually made way for a fully self-sufficient local operation which has sustained, then thrived throughout this first decade . Today, Anyware’s New Zealand operation brings more than 40 brands across a wide variety of accessory categories and has issued its first New Zealand catalogue earlier this year to coincide with the unveiling of a new website.

Anyware’s Auckland Branch Manager, Winnie Han, says the successes of recent years have put a significant focus on New Zealand as an increasingly important part of the company's business.

“I am so proud of the effort and results which my team have achieved, but particularly the support which our customers have shown," Han says in a statement. "It is no secret that challenges face many computer resellers from both the economy and the PC market in general, but by working together I truly believe that both ourselves and our customers can continue to thrive for another 10 years to come.“

Anyware will be hosting a birthday celebration at their Penrose location in late July. Competitions will run throughout the month to reward customers for their decade of loyal patronage, culminating in a grand prize to be awarded during the birthday party event.
