Optimation offers swine flu relief to businesses

Remote access product gives staff secure access

Optimation is helping business cope with the challenges of the flu season by providing a remote access offering that gives staff entry to their office IT systems from home. The offering is based on F5 Firepass and Vasco secure remote access technology, which can be integrated into any existing IT environment.

The company has designed fixed price packages for up to 50 users. The package includes all the hardware and software needed, plus consulting and engineering services.

National sales manager Verdon Kelliher says that with the onset of swine flu, the company understands that local businesses are concerned about planning for business continuity.

“This is an ideal solution for delivering a full suite of secure IT services to people who travel regularly or work from remote offices. It also provides contingency cover for situations where weather conditions or public transport problems interrupt normal commutes.”
