Integral confirms Axon acquisition

Green to leave company; more cloud investment planned.

As reported by Reseller News last month, Integral has acquired Axon to create the largest privately owned local ICT services company. Axon was sold for an undisclosed sum in a share purchase.

Axon CEO Scott Green will take on an advisory role to the board while the intergration is completed. Integral’s managing director Ray Noonan becomes managing director of the new company. Noonan is also a director on the board. Integral sales and marketing director Catherine Blinkhorn is now director of customer engagement.

The combined company will have revenues of $150 million and 360 staff.

Integral’s executive chairman David Sutherland says it is unlikely Scott Green will remain with the company long term.

"His brief was four years ago to grow the company and prepare it for a sale. He has achieved that goal so it makes sense for him to move out on a high and find a new challenge."

He says the name and brand of the new company is still under consideration and a decision is yet to be made.

"The possibilities are to continue with both company names or encapsulate those together in a single brand."
