Richard Kitts takes on the role in March

Cisco has appointed Richard Kitts as the company's new vice president for the Australia and New Zealand region. Kitts will take on the role in March and will be responsible for driving growth in the region.

Kitts, who will be based in Cisco's North Sydney office, joins Cisco from Nokia-Siemens Networks, where he worked for ten years. Prior to that, he also held roles with Motorola, both in Europe and Asia.

Kitts will report to Les Williamson, VP for the Asia Pacific area for Cisco.

“I am looking forward to welcoming Richard to Cisco. Richard brings an excellent track record of achievement in people leadership, business management and customer engagement and we are very pleased that he has decided to bring his wealth of knowledge and experience to Cisco and our customers and partners,” says Williamson.

Malwarebytes shoots the breeze with channel, prospects

Malwarebytes shoots the breeze with channel, prospects

A Kumeu, Auckland, winery was the venue for a Malwarebytes event for partner and prospect MSPs - with some straight shooting on the side. The half-day getaway, which featured an archery competition, lunch and wine-tasting aimed at bringing Malwarebytes' local New Zealand and top and prospective MSP partners together to celebrate recent local successes, and discuss the current state of malware in New Zealand. This was also a unique opportunity for local MSPs to learn about how they can get the most out of Malwarebytes' MSP program and offering, as more Kiwi businesses are targeted by malware.
