Software company Syl Semantics has appointed Bob Forgan as the company's operations manager.
Forgan will be responsible for managing the company's projects, implementations and customer support and will also lead the compayn's establishment of business processes to support the market expansion of its Syl Search product.
“We are fortunate to have secured Bob for this new role. He has a proven track record of putting in place the necessary processes to upscale the company to support the uptake of our products and services," says Syl Semantics CEO Sean Wilson.
Forgan began his ICT career as an applications support programmer with the Wellington Regional Council. After working overseas, he held senior positions with the Ministry of Software (now known as Simpl), Working Knowledge, the Hunter Group, and Forethought Partners, which he founded. He joins Syl Semantics from AtlasTechnology, the commercial software development arm of Scion, where he was general manager.
