Brocade hires regional service provider director

Ravi Saxena joins the team from Cisco

Networking vendor, Brocade, has appointed Ravi Saxena, as its regional director for its service provider business in Asia Pacific.

Saxena will be based in Singapore and is responsible for driving the company’s service provider growth and market-penetration strategies throughout the region.

He will work closely with the regional field leadership, marketing and product management teams to devise and execute on a go-to-market strategy for this business segment.

Prior to joining Brocade, Saxena was the Cisco vice-president of service provider business development in India, where he led a team of worldwide resources in addressing large opportunities across the mobility, video and managed services segments in emerging markets.

“The service provider segment is crucial for Brocade both globally and in APAC as part of our long-term growth strategy,” Saxena said in a statement.
