Cisco A/NZ director of channel operations, Michael Lehmann, has left the company to pursue other interests after two years in the post.

“We’re in the process of looking for a replacement,” Cisco A/NZ senior PR manager, Linda Horiuchi, said.

“He left to spend more time with his family and we wish him all the best. We’re actively looking for a replacement very quickly. There is no interim replacement.”

Asked whether he plans to move back to his native United States, Horiuchi said he plans to stay in Australia.

Lehmann has been with the company for the past two years. He was hired in December 2008 to take on the role vacated by Jeff Sheard.

At the time, he was working with Cisco as a consultant in the Sydney office of Singapore outfit, Intuition Consulting. He also has experience in reseller organisations and in distribution with Tech Pacific as group CFO.

His main areas of focus throughout his tenure with Cisco consistently remained profitability and growth.
