Security vendor, CA, has tweaked its name and is now called CA Technologies.
According to a statement, the brand and name change aims to reflect the full breadth and depth of what the company offers.
The brand, name change and a new website design for www.ca.com were unveiled at the vendor’s customer conference CA World 2010.
“Our integrated marketing campaign and name change will demonstrate a consistent brand message and image to our global customers,” CA chief marketing officer, Marianne Budnik, said.
“We are rolling out a global advertising campaign, website redesign, online marketing, new collateral and signage to ensure our new identity and brand promise resonates with customers and partners around the world.”
CA World has attracted more than 7000 customers, partners, analysts and employees to the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas. It runs May 16-20.

"We are executing on a bold strategy to delight our customers with unprecedented levels of IT speed and flexibility."
